PhytoLove is a collaboration between Camilla Brinkworth of Camilla Clare Naturopathy, and Simah Acabani of Hemp Culture. Combining Camilla’s expertise in plant-based nutrition with Simah’s experience in ethical retail, they decided to join forces to seek the most innovative plant-based food and nutraceutical solutions and bring them all the way “down under”.

With the oceans in crisis, Ahiflower® (Buglossoides arvensis seed oil) is the ultimate answer to the Omega conundrum: what is the most sustainable, well balanced, non-GM omega source available? Ahiflower® is the answer to each of these.

Ahiflower® (trademarked and exclusively cultivated by Nature’s Crops International) is PhytoLove’s first find, and they feel deeply privileged to bring this incredible oil to Australia and New Zealand. PhytoLove exclusively distributes Ahiflower oil for supplemental use for humans and canines in these territories. Ahiflower® (Buglossoides arvensis seed oil) is available in vegan soft gels and powder form, to allow the ultimate flexibility in formulation.

Vision

Simah and Camilla believe in a plant-based world with food security for all. PhytoLove is a vehicle through which they intend to contribute to the solution of what is currently a deeply problematic food system .

Simah, whose passion outside of ethical entrepreneurship is syntropic agroforestry, is particularly concerned by the use of traditional monoculture farming which is rapidly destroying our soil and the eco systems that live within it. Ahiflower’s regenerative farming methods is a breath of fresh air in the omega space.

Health

As a degree-qualified Naturopath, and long term vegan, with what she believed an extensive knowledge of plant-based nutrition, Camilla was astounded when she came across the science underpinning Ahiflower® (Buglossoides arvensis seed oil). She became determined to bring it to Australia as an approved ingredient, and to educate as widely as possible on its outstanding potential for human health.
